PLEASE NOTE THAT AS THIS ITEM IS REFRIGERATED IT IS CLASSED AS RAW FOOD FOR DELIVERY PURPOSES
As we mentioned above the benefits of feeding Kefir can border on the miraculous, but like any supplement it’s not a replacement for a high quality, species appropriate diet (raw) so ensure you have the basics right first.
Ingredients: pasteurised and homogenised whole cow’s Milk fermented with live Kefir cultures including Bifidobacterium.
Small dogs – 1 tsp to 1 tbsp
Medium dogs – 1 tbsp to 2 tbsp
Large dogs – 2 tbsp to 3 tbsp
(feed half doses for a week or two when introducing)
As with any supplement introduce slowly and if there are any negative reactions (however unlikely) then stop using it immediately. Kefir contains a highly concentrated boost of probiotics so be careful to watch for upset tummies when feeding at first. Once your dog is used to enjoying Kefir in their food, you can double the dosage when feeding it therapeutically (e.g. to aid recovery after a course of antibiotics).
