Offal Brownie Recipe
It was Product Testing Manager Louis’ birthday yesterday, the big man turned the big 9!
We thought we’d treat him to some offal brownie, yep you heard right, offal brownie (cue hilarious misunderstandings when said out loud). It’s so simple to make and was a massive hit, so we thought we’d share the recipe… its ridiculously easy.
- 500g pack of ready minced Offal Mix (or you could blend whole liver or any other mixed offal in a food processor, it’s a bit messier though!)
- 1 Organic egg
- 100g approx of Dove’s Farm Gluten Free Flour
Preheat oven to 180 degrees c.
Mix the minced offal and egg together in bowl thoroughly.
Add flour mixing and adding until a dough like consistency – it may take more than 100g.
Tip into greaseproof lined tin approx 20cm square (or equivalent), and remember not to lick the spoon!
Bake in oven for 15 minutes (or a little longer, until firm & liver is just cooked).
Cool and cut into squares.
You could wrap each slice in clingfilm and freeze, defrosting a square at a time to ration treat time. Alternatively store in tupperware in the fridge and feed as a treat, within 3 days… yeah, like it will last that long!
